I love this game! And I love this artwork! ^^ It's beautiful, and reminds me very much of the actual game art. Personally, I think you're in for a treat playing this, but I have no idea what your Zelda game standards are. I know I enjoyed it very much, despite the fact that Navi now has a competitor for most annoying "guide". That's not to say I hate Fi though, she's pretty cool despite all that. XD Anyway, I hope you enjoy Skyward Sword and the adventures therein! Just watch out for the infamous game-breaker glitch it might have, I'm not sure if that ever got fixed.
Well, my favourite Zelda game is Majora's Mask - and it's gonna take a lot to top it I think! Haha.
So far I haven't found Fi quite so annoying! Haha, her voice has a interesting melody to it. And I enjoy that they're not attempting to mask her one-dimensional personality. But overall, Link's sidekicks always seem to irk me in some way or another
Thanks for the heads up! I did a search, and I will be sure to avoid that pesky glitch.
Still haven't played that one, but I think the general consensus has always been that it was one of the best, if not the best. And perhaps the creepiest.
I agree her voice is rather melodic, I didn't mind that at all. But she can certainly be "Captain Obvious", which, eventually, I found more amusing than anything. And despite the one-dimensional personality, she was nonetheless an interesting character.
No problem! Playing later sometimes pays off, though I can't help feeling sorry for the poor gamers that discovered it first. Especially since it happens so late in the game.
Majora's Mask is damn fantastic. Feels a bit dated gameplay-wise these days but hey, that happens.
I'm actually finding a lot of the game feels a bit dumbed down in comparison with previous titles - so it might not just be Fi being Captain Obvious! Haha, but yeah it does amuse me when she pops up only to state the facts we JUST learned on our own
Just got to the area where the glitch can take place... wish me luck #_#
Heh, well regardless of dated gameplay, the oldies but goodies are always fun to play. And someday I hope to have the pleasure of taking a crack at Majora's Mask.
Well what killed me (almost literally, mind you), was when she decided to inform me that my health was critically low. Goodness me, I had no idea I was about to die. But I also felt things had be dumbed down a bit, particularly when Fi would restate things I had already just learned or figured out myself. I suppose it would be okay for much younger players though.
Ah yes, I'm vaguely familiar with Tatl (and Tael), since I've heard/read a few things here or there, but didn't know there was any character development applied to them, so that's cool. ^^ I heard once that MM was available as a download for the Wii...I think...don't know if that was or still is true, but I'll have to investigate.
Oh wow, you flew through that game. Then again, as I recall, most people did. How about that final battle? It was pretty crazy fun in my opinion. Anyway, glad to hear that despite it's flaws, you enjoyed the game!
I really enjoyed the final fight against Ghirahim (and the twist to his true identity). The fight with Demise was a little underwhelming after that, but still pretty cool. Maybe a bit too Final Fantasy, haha.
Yeah it's interesting to experience a break in the traditional Zelda mould. Excited to see them try more things in the future
Hey thanks very much, glad you like it So far I've really enjoyed the style of the game - some of the story elements have been kind of surprising though o: Feels a bit sidetracked from the classic Zelda formula.
I must say I don't actually mind Fi so much! I agree that it would be nice for more to look around at up in the sky - and there are some smaller things that just feel a bit inconsistent and are sapping some of the enjoyment for me. Buuut I will hold off any final judgement until I complete it
